Our Patent pending Abacus

About the Abacus

The most important tool that aids in getting to the stage of mental calculation is the abacus, which represents numbers via beads and after some time those beads are represented in the shape of images for the human mind, which in turn leads to the use of the right part of the brain in the calculations as it is distinguished from the left side because of the strength of its memory. Furthermore, with the abacus, numbers will no longer be abstract. Academic performance is also improved in all subjects and the learning process becomes fun. The abacus also instills concentration and energizes the brain and enhances thinking ability, response, and memory power. More specifically, some of the advantages of abacuses in general are:

Abacus Benefits
-Boosts better and faster calculation skills.

-Increases endurance for stress and pressure.

Improves problem-solving abilities.
-Teaches clearer logical reasoning.
-Sharpens concentration and observance.
-Develops confidence and self-esteem
-Heightens stronger mental visualization skills.
-Betters reading and writing.
-Enhances photographic memory.
-Sharpens listening skills.
Makes mathematics meaningful, useful, and fun.
-Provides a solid learning foundation for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
-Increases memory power and sharpens overall mental formation.
-The number of rules is less.

-Don’t use complex rules, especially in combination.

-The layout of this abacus made it possible to acquire a general formula for all basic multiplication meaning that there is no longer a need for the multiplication table.

-The division process becomes much easier since division relies on multiplication which with this abacus is easier hence the division also becomes easier and faster.

-Representation of negative numbers.
Representation of the sign of the first and second numbers.

-Representation of the sign of the result.

-Possibility of performing the 4 mathematical operations (subtraction, addition, division, and multiplication) for both positive and negative numbers.

-Comma Separators to better represent numbers and read them, which helps to better visualize the abacus in the students’ minds.

-Adjustable. for representing the “ones” digit.
It is much simpler since it depends on the big friends only and does not use small friends, so we do not need combination friends.

-Depends on even numbers (2, 4, 6, 8) either in summation or subtraction. As for the odd numbers, we will deal with it as an even number by adding or subtracting 1 from them, since we know the results in advance.

-The training time, which leads to reducing cost, is shorter than the time needed for other abacuses.

-The abacus is not just for children like past abacuses, it’s for adults as well since all types of operations can be done on it.

Boosts better and faster calculation skills

Regular engagement in mathematical exercises and problem-solving tasks enhances one’s ability to perform calculations swiftly and accurately. Through practice, individuals develop a stronger grasp of numerical concepts, enabling them to quickly analyze and solve mathematical problems with confidence and efficiency.

Improves problem-solving abilities

Mathematics encourages individuals to think critically and analytically when faced with problems. By engaging in mathematical problem-solving, individuals learn to break down complex problems into manageable steps, analyze information, identify patterns, and devise effective solutions. These problem-solving skills cultivated through mathematics can be applied to various real-life situations, enhancing overall problem-solving abilities.

Sharpens concentration and observance

Mathematics requires sustained focus and attention to detail. Regularly engaging with mathematical concepts and solving problems improves concentration skills and the ability to pay close attention to the details of a problem. This heightened focus and observance can transfer to other areas of life, leading to improved performance in various tasks that require attention to detail.

Heightens stronger mental visualization skills

Mathematics often involves abstract concepts and the ability to visualize relationships between numbers, shapes, and patterns. Regular engagement with mathematical concepts helps individuals develop and strengthen their mental visualization skills. This skill allows individuals to mentally manipulate and comprehend complex spatial and numerical relationships, aiding problem-solving and comprehension in various fields.

Enhances better photographic memory

Engaging with mathematical concepts and patterns helps individuals enhance their memory skills. Mathematics often involves memorizing formulas, definitions, and problem-solving techniques. Regular practice can improve memory retention and recall abilities, contributing to an enhanced capacity for retaining information in various other subjects and everyday life.

Makes mathematics meaningful

Approaching mathematics with a positive attitude and understanding its relevance in real-life situations can make it more enjoyable and meaningful. By applying mathematical concepts to practical problems and real-world scenarios, individuals can see the practical applications of mathematics, making it more engaging and fun to learn.

Increases Endurance for Stress and Pressure

Mathematics often involves complex problems that require concentration and mental effort. Regularly practicing mathematical exercises and tackling challenging problems can help individuals develop resilience and endurance when faced with stressful or high-pressure situations. This ability to remain calm and focused under pressure can extend beyond mathematics and be valuable in various aspects of life.

Teaches clearer logical Reasoning

Mathematics is built upon a foundation of logical reasoning. By studying and practicing mathematics, individuals develop the ability to think logically, make connections between concepts, and draw conclusions based on evidence and reasoning. This logical thinking can extend beyond mathematics, helping individuals approach challenges and decision-making with a clear and rational mindset.

Develops confidence and self-esteem

Successfully solving mathematical problems and understanding complex concepts boosts an individual’s confidence in their abilities. As individuals overcome challenges in mathematics, they gain a sense of accomplishment and develop a positive self-perception. This increased confidence and self-esteem can extend to other areas of life, fostering a belief in one’s ability to overcome obstacles and achieve success.

Betters reading and writing

Mathematics involves interpreting and communicating mathematical ideas, which contributes to the improvement of reading and writing skills. Mathematical texts require individuals to comprehend and interpret mathematical symbols, equations, and explanations. By engaging with mathematical content, individuals develop the ability to read and understand technical material effectively, and they learn to express their ideas and reasoning clearly in written form.

Sharpens listening skills

Mathematics requires active listening to grasp and understand concepts explained by teachers or peers. By actively participating in mathematical discussions and listening attentively, individuals can develop and sharpen their listening skills. These improved listening skills can then be applied to other areas of life, such as understanding instructions, lectures, or conversations mor
